It yet another sad news as football fans across the globe received with heavy hearts news that former Nigerian football star Peter Ogaba has sadly passed away.
Ogaba is famous for being the youngest Nigerian player at the FIFA Under 20 World Cup hosted by Saudi Arabia in 1989.
He played for the team at a tender age of 13. A condolence statement by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, said,
“We are shocked to hear of the sad demise of former Junior International Peter Ogaba.”
Ogaba was 42 and passed away yesterday in Abuja after a brief illness.
