Ghana’s biggest stars are still celebrating winning some of the top awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, whiles the new artiste will be planning for the 2017 ceremony.
One person who won’t be involved in next year’s awards is the dancehall king Shatta Wale.
The dancehall king has come out publicly and declared that, he won’t be submitting any of his works for next year’s awards following disputes with the organizer of the yearly ceremony, charterhouse.
“I will not submit my works for 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Charterhouse rejected my submission last year so I won’t submit next year”.
He went on to say that the only people who have the chance to change his mind are his fans.
“If my fans ask me to submit, why not. My fans are my God so I will listen to their advise”.
A few months ago, before this year’s awards ceremony, several celebrities slams Charterhouse for banning Shatta Wale’s music.
