Celestin Job Kwofie known in the showbiz as Curr3ncy who is a musician base in the state is a promising musician, the ‘Medo wo’ hitmaker who has 5 singles to his credit with the likes of I rep Gh, Walabau, Twanobo which featured Qwesi Flex, and Bye to Poverty. He said Medo wo was his biggest hit and he also did a cover for Wisa’s Ekikimi and it was popular.
Speaking to KCJ a reporter of yooyooafrica.com, he added that the video for medo wo is out and he has worked with sound engineers like Willisbeat, Vybz, Streetbeat and a host of others in Gh. Flash, Kolabo, Dollor Man are all America base sound engineers he has worked with. Asked of his opinion in the industry here in Ghana and the State Curr3ncy said is few event organizers that pay good money to artist but in all we doing good. We still making progress it wasn’t like this before now these big names makes good money from shows, it wasn’t really like that in Reggie’s time so we are growing. When asked his view on the VGMA and who wins the artiste of the year he said all i know is Kofi Kinaata is winning all the awards he was nominated for and had this for his fans ” Well i love them die, their support keeps me going and they should keep supporting me am never gonna let them down. I know i have been slow i was dealing with school stuff but we are on break now so more music. lol
