Ghanaian Legendary rapper and member of VVIP trio, Reggie Rockstone decided to wear ‘fake Adidas’ outfit at the 17th edition of the annual Vodafone Ghana music awards and got many people talking about his costume. In what people called ‘fake adidas’ there is ‘I’ instead of ‘i’ in the spellings of adidas.Speculations are either he wore this outfit to stalk the Dancehall King, Shatta Wale or there’s some other reason behind?
The rapper, before putting on the clothing,posted a photograph of the dress on his Facebook page with the following caption he inscripted.
, ‘Rocking my adldas today joe! Fake or not rock is real and dats dat! if it looks good negroes will wear it lol! going to win awards in it too. VVIP all day! Shout out to King Shatta Wale! we na look bak! #hoodvibes’
The fake adidas controversy started from the music video of Shatta Wale’s latest song, ‘Bie Gya’ when Shatta Wale wore a fake adidas hoodie in his music video and everyone starts criticizing him and making fun of his fake outfit.
The Shatta Movement boss quickly gave a response to the critics, and said ” I wore that ‘fake adidas’ for publicity and for those people who are brand conscious”.
After that, many celebrities wore this so called ‘fakes adidas’ outfit.
